The Surry Community College baseball field is regarded as one of the finest junior college fields in the nation. The field includes 60 foot long dugouts, locker room, laundry and storage rooms, irrigation and drainage systems, and three batting cages.  Along with being the "Home of the Knights," the field has also hosted several showcases. These include:
  • Arizona Diamondbacks Pro Tryout Camp
  • Cincinnati Reds Pro Tryout Camp
  • Colorado Rockies Pro Tryout Camp
  • Toronto Blue Jays Pro Tryout Camp
  • Toronto Blue Jays East Coast Pre-Draft Evaluation 2000 and 2001
  • North Carolina State Games (Region VII) Tryouts 2000 and 2001
